Research On The Communication Mechanism Of Vulnerable Groups In China

Our society is in the key stage of transformation. The transformation is an overall change of the social life. It takes the social economic relationship as the core factor involving social life, economic life, political life and cultural life. With the social transformation, a large number of vulnerable groups emerged as a result and is becoming the remarkable and urgent issue in political life in our society arousing the extensive concern. To rescue the vulnerable groups has been determined as the current common responsibility and mission due to the essence of socialism and the essential goal of economic and social development of our country. The theoretical research and practical exploration on this issue is going further and further. However, there is another fact cannot be neglected, that is happened now and again that the ultra drastic and collective incidents, such as collective appeal for help, besiege, blocking up way, and autotomy, violent crimes and other behaviors for venting one's anger acting mainly by vulnerable groups. Among them an important reason lies in, that the vulnerable groups have difficulties of interests expression and they are lack of communication with society and political system effectively. Consequently, the vulnerable groups are gradually being marginalized with the excluding of the society. The methods used in this paper of jumping out of such traditional ways of the social security and economic aid, etc., and studying vulnerable groups and the corresponding measures in terms of communication, are illuminated from the theories of social stratification, social exclusion, social control and the methodological principles of political systems analysis approach and political communication analysis approach. In this manner, the writer aims to carry out an academic idea and a tentative research.The paper reconstructed the communication mechanism of vulnerable groups in our society. The new mechanism includes three goal levels: succoring, preventing and developing, and bases on three communication subsystems: psychological succor system, information exchange system and consulting system. The new mechanism dynamically plays functions, which can not only meet the needs of information interchange for vulnerable groups, but offer facility for the prewarning of social risks and psychological succor of the vulnerable groups. Thus, the paper has theoretical research significance and practical reference value. The paper is divided into five parts to study the subject: First part: A introduction of background, meaning, purpose, methods and innovation. Second part: Reference and general idea of domestic and international research, mainly contents the related research on disadvantaged groups and theories of communicating with them. Third part: Analysis of the communicating corner of disadvantaged groups, including their pressure, characteristics, appearance of communicating corner, influence to our society and so on. Fourth part: To discover restructure of the communicating system for disadvantaged groups. Carried on by necessity of restructure, purpose and methods, choice and innovation, and design of the restructuring process. Fifth part: To give a review and conclusion to the paper and to give an objective judgment to function of communicating system in solving disadvantaged groups'problems.
