Risk management is one of the important contents of the project management. As a new-type project financing method, BOT financing way gets relatively rapid development in the developing country in recent years. BOT financing project whose environment change and develop constantly is characteristic of large scale of investment, long life circle, many participants. So risk management is a key problem in BOT financing project. Successful risk management is the assurance that goal of BOT financing project is realized.In this thesis, with respect to the questions that exist in domestic project risk management, the types and characteristics of BOT financing project is discussed. From the view of integration management and the characteristic of the project, the importance of implementing integrated risk management of BOT financing project is proved. Based on the theories of the system and total risk management, with combining and integrating effectively of the means of risk management, elements and information resources launched in the project, objectives of risk management, processes of risk management, the theory of integrated risk management of BOT financing project is set up, and the frame and course of integrated risk management is studied.In this thesis, the application of such the tools and methods as risk breakdown structure, risk assessment code, risk matrix and Borda method are introduced. At the same time, risk degree method is introduced to weighing the overall risk of the project. In the end of the thesis, using the method of earned value to appraise the performance of risk management.
