The research of core competence and customer service of logistics enterprises is one of the most important subjects of logistics studies. With the quickening of economic globalization and the entrance of WTO, Chinese enterprises will face more severe market competition. Now, Chinese new logistics enterprises are facing the competition of world famous logistics enterprises of developed countries, who are aiming to the huge market of China. Therefore, make the competitive strategy of logistics enterprises which accords with Chinese conditions and strengthen the core competence and the level of customer service of logistics enterprises effectively are quite meaningful for improving the development of Chinese logistics industry as well as the core competence of logistics enterprises in the international market.The most important opinion of this paper is that the competence of customer service is the main idea of core competence of logistics enterprises. The high-quality level of customer service is the key of success of logistics enterprises in the market.Firstly, this paper defines the main contents of the core competence of enterprises, logistics enterprises, and customer service of logistics enterprises, and also expounds the important meaning of building the core competence and customer service system, and also the importance of doing research on customer service of logistics enterprises based on the core competence. Then, the paper introduces the relevant current research situations both in China and abroad.Secondly, this paper defines the key elements, standard, characteristic, purpose, and principle of customer service of logistics enterprises clearly, and also propose how to reach the optimum level of customer service, which offer a reference mode for building customer service system.Thirdly, the paper believes that the competence of customer service is the most important content of the core competence of logistics enterprises, and defines the contents of the core competence of customer service and logistics enterprises.
