The Role Analysis Of The Leader Of Small Village Group In The Contemporary Countryside

Agricultural revenue has been abolished since 2006 in China, which has produced enormous impulsion and influence to rural grass-roots political authority. Both countryside and hamlet organizations are hard to run because they are short of capital. Therefore, both of them reduce the staff and incorporate institutes in order to keeping running. Under this background, many country governments decide to cancel the leaders of small village group.At present, the studies on Chinese rural society for most domestic and international scholars concentrate on the layer of countryside and hamlet. All of them neglect the studies of the small village group. In allusion to the absent of studies on the small village group, this article takes a village of Jingmen city as the example, and analyzes the role which the leader of small village group plays in the daily life. Furthermore, I will compare the role-play of the leaders of small village group to the village leaders', in order to provide a supplement to the studies of village leader'role-play.The survey shows that the leaders of small village group should deal with all works of the groups. It means they act the role of the integrative governor. The leaders of small village group and the village leaders are result in state regime infiltrating the village grass roots, so the leaders of small village group are similar in role acting to the village leaders. However, because they dominate different areas, there are great differences in their role-playing. The works of the village leaders are reflected in the aspect of state administrative organizational system. But the leaders of small village group have an influence on the self-management and self-service of the rural society.At last, this article also discusses the substitutable actors of the leaders of small village group. Every group should arrange a communicant to insure that the village leaders knowing the information and dealing with them instantly. Then the village grass roots can be consolidated.
