The Study On The Situation Of Female Peasantry Informal Employees In The Urban

At present,informal employment has become a huge "sponge" or a "reservoir" which can absorb numerous labors .It has also become a feasible way to ease the pressure of employment in developing countries because of its exuberant vitality.Many experts have pointed out that in the future in China,informal employment would be an important and only way to solve the problem of employment.China is now in transition, the adjustment of industrial structure, urban and rural social structure and the related changes of the policies lead to massive urban influx of the rural labor force. They often take the informal employment and have made a great contribution to the socio-economic development of the cities.The previous researches on informal employment and the life and work of peasantry workers in the city ignore the factor "gender" and the dual roles that the female peasantry workers have always undertaken in context of studies,research methods and the point of researches.After the thesis expatiates the significance of informal employment and the female peasantry workers in today's China,I define some basic concepts in this study: take the temporary female workers as the object of this study. The thesis chooses the qualitative research methods and uses the cases interviews and participatory observation to collect the study materials.the thesis dwells on the conditions of the female peasantry workers in an electronics factory in Bengbu city: female peasantry workers choose the form of casual laborer in the factory is helplessness;female peasantry workers' consumer demand is limited;female peasantry workers lack the sense of collective actions;female peasantry workers are indecisive and confused when they face the problem of their future development.On the basis of the above analysis,the thesis analyzes the informal employment on the negative impact of the peasantry workers' home and of female peasantry workers and their families accumulation of social capital. At last, the thesis points out that in rural,measures should be taken to improve the cultural level and practical skills of the female peasantry workers for their long-run development;the government should take some steps to make the informal employment market run well,and should take more support measures to the female peasantry workers who choose the informal employment;at last,some aspects of the whole society should be reformed and improved,such as social institutions,the social security system.etc,to create a harmonious and stable ambience for the development of the female peasantry workers.
