Sino-EU relations are important problems of the contemporary international relations. The development of Sino-EU relations has positive significances in promoting the development of the Asian-Pacific area and even the world. Considering the multi-faced factors such as economy and politics, etc., EU finally realized the importance of the Asia and PRC in the new period. Since 1995, EU had announced six documents regarding its China policy. EU upgraded PRC to be one of global strategic partners. Despite the fact that the PRC-EU relations were significantly improved in the new century, some disagreements remained in the areas of human rights and economic interaction.The thesis firstly observed the adjustment of the Policy on China of European Union In the new century, especially the content and procedure, This study then analyzed the background, cause and feature of the adjustment, and probed into the restrictive and negative factors in Sino-EU relations.
