For oversea chinese,the family is an important link connected homeland and residence country .Early Chinese transnational activities are also stem from the sense of responsibility and concern for family. With the lapes of time,the oversea Chinese have integrated their resident countries with (themselves or their parents)birthplace,and maintained multi-relationship gradually.At the same time,the content and significance of Chinese transnational activities have changed correspondingly,they are not only transregional,more diversity on the economy,more flexibility on politics,and try to walk between the Chinese and Western cultures.Afer World War II ,with the changes in the American immigration policies, especially the enforcement of Immigration Act of 1965, Chinese from mainland, HongKong, Taiwan and other places of the world immigrated into America.Great changes have taken place in both the quantity and quality of Chinese-Amercan.More and more Chinese-American families have been established and developed,which made the Chinese community in the United State, gradually evolved from a growing decline bachelors-gathered area to a family-based ethnic groups. Chinese families have made some new changes on the concept of marrige,relations between the sexes,children's education,employment and so on,also made various effors to adapt to the economical,political and cultural enviroment,increasingly builded a transnational network between homeland and country of residence.
