On The Role Played By Volunteers In Harmonious Society

During the fouth session of our party's 16th plenary meeting, it is stated that we should create "a hamonious socialism society".The volunteer work, as a noble social cause, has been recognized by more and more people. And it aslo creates good atmosphere and environment for creating a hamonious society. Nowadays, more and more people are ready to do volunteer jobs, and aslo the scope of the work has been enlarged.The volunteer job now is becoming an important tool to promote social progress in an all-around way, and aslo an important indication for social civilization development.The volunteer becomes the important human resources of NPO.The managing performance to the volunteer nfluences the success of management to the NPO directly. The management to the volunteer in NPO is particular. Which determines it different from the humnan rescoucers management of commercial organization and the government. In our country, the NPO and the volunteer are also only fresh things. The study on the theory and the practice of the volunteer's management in NPO are just started. So, the study on the volunteer's management of NPO has important theory and realistic meaning.The article bases one the the thoery of NPO,investigating the volunteer service from both macro and micro level.It analyses the development of volunteer service from the macro point of view, and then takes the "university student volunteer service in"North of Jiangsu Province plan" for example from micro point of view.analysing the origin, implementation, achievements and obstacles of the plan.Finally, it gives suggestions of making full use of the volunteer service.
