Research On The Relationship Between Government And Mass Media In Emergencies

Along with the development of China, the number of emergencies is more and more. Especially on the government scale, how to deal with the more emergencies is an important problem to government. The government and mass media as the first society organization that the public choose resort to, the disharmony and abuse between the government and mass media have been exposed since 2003. And we know that a successful information communication it's very important to the government, mass media and the public, so how to construct and perfect the information communication of government's emergencies management has been the one of the focuses of society and public.The thesis includes five charters. The first chapter deal with the concepts and backgrounds of emergencies. Form the more and more emergencies at present in China, the research's reasons, purpose, backgrounds and other concepts in thesis are explained.The second chapter analyze the two organizations in emergencies that the public choose to resort to are government and mass media. The essential relationship between the government and mass media is information communication, and expound the effect and function of government and mass media.The third chapter study the developed countries the relationship between government and mass media. More emphases is put on the advantages and shortcomings of these developed countries how to deal with the relationship between government and mass media in emergencies. The fourth chapter depict the disharmony between government and mass media in china. And the emphases is analyze the reasons.The fifth chapter bring forth the advices that aimed at perfecting the relationship between government and mass media.The thesis analyze the reasons of disharmony between government and mass media in theory, then bring forward the methods to improve and mend the information communication of emergencies in theory, eliminate the communication obstacle and create condition to settle emergencies successfully. This thesis also set forth the possibility and measure to perfect government and mass media's emergencies.
