Since reforming and opening in China, contemporary society in the process of modernization is harmonious on the whole. But it must be noted that at the stages of building a well-off society at the first 20 years of this century, number of factors of disharmony in our society is increasing, contradictions in the problem of unbalanced development between town and country, unbalanced development in region, unbalanced development economic and social, are increasingly prominent; a series of new problems arise out, such as the problem of peasants, farming, and countryside, environment protection problem and so on.
