Social Adaptiveness Of Adolescent In Rural And It's Relationship With Family Function,Friendship Quality And Academic Achievement

Individual adaptation and development are the basic tasks of life,but also adolescent facing the two most important issues.Adolescent growing up is a continuous improvement process of socialization, in this period,Adolescent and social environment arising from the interaction of psychological adjustment,coping style tend to a certain extent,formation of a unique individual and social adaptation.The impact of social adaptation to the social pressure of the individual's understanding and feelings, but also determines what kind of individual coping strategies to adapt to the community.Because of individual differences in social adaptation ,in the process of social adaptation,the individual adapt to different mechanisms and form the different adaptive levels.This in itself has theoretical significance of personality psychology. Many psychologists aware that the social adaptiveness is also a personality adaptation , When the individual facing the stress, pressure or difficulties, the inherent personality trait is going to be cope and assess,mobilizing the existing resources and strategies to manage crisis, so that personality or psychological state to maintain a balance,if properly managed,personality traits will maintain a relatively stable state,if the crisis has failed to deal with,it will lead to instability and even personality obstacles.The pressure response and coping is the interaction results of individual personality and social supportment.Therefore,study the characteristics of social adaptation of Adolescent has important practical significance and theoretical value.The main purpose of this study was to explore and understand the developmental levels,characteristics and influencing factors of adaptability of rural adolescent.It can provide the psychological theory and empirical evidence for the prevention and diagnosis of adjustment disorder of rural adolescent,to raise the level of social adaptation of young people,and promote quality education in rural areas more well. The research is done by means of questionnaire survey,using SAS-SSS and Family Assessment Device and Friendship Quality Questionnaire on a sample of rural adolescents.It studies general characteristics of the adolescents in rural China,and discuss the relationship between social adaptiveness and family function,friendship quality,Academic achievement.Conclusions drawn in this thesis are as follows: (1)First-order factors in social adaptiveness of the four dimensions, only a sense of psychological advantage at 3 points below the midpoint, the other three dimensions were higher than the mid-point and interpersonal adaptability was highest.in the second-order factor of 14,only control and autonomy were below the mid-point points, others higher than the midpoint, including altruistic tendencies,followed by optimism.(2)There was a significant gender differences in the two dimensions of psychological advantage and interpersonal adaptability of social adaptiveness of adolescent in rural china.Boy's test of psychological advantage significantly higher than girl's,girl's test of interpersonal significantly higher than boy's.The main effect of grade on social adaptiveness,mental energy,interpersonal adaptability and mental flexibility is significant. Whether their parents are working out,it takes no significant influences on the dimensions of social adaptiveness.(3)There was a significant difference in four different academic achievement levels of family function,friendship quality and social adaptiveness.Outstanding academic achievement of adolescent in family function,friendship quality,social adaptability and so on are better than the good ,medium and poor of academic achievement.(4)There was a significant correlation among family function,friendship quality,academic achievement,social adaptiveness.(5)Family function,friendship quality,academic achievement social adaptiveness have a stroner role in the forecast to social adaptability.Specifically,family function, friendship quality and academic achievement have different predictive power in the various dimensions of social adaptability,and there exist gender differences in the forecast.
