Research On The Supply And Demand Of City Agency's Pension Services

Through investigating the needs of the elderly living in Changsha pension agency, this paper had a preliminary understanding of pension agencys old men's basic situation and characters in gender and age, economic status and education level, and their needs in the physiology, psychology, emotion, security, and so on. Thereby it came to further understand and find out the problem of pension agency, so as to provide a scientific basis and an important reference for the development of pension agency and relevant departments'work improvement. This study used a questionnaire survey for 100 old men living in Changsha pension agency, which investigated and interviewed the old's general case, everyday life and their satisfaction level for their life and psychological needs. Meanwhile, through interviewing in depth the person in charge of pension agency, it knew more details about the current status and existing problems of pension agency. The study found out that pension agency's problem mostly focused on the single service, poor service skills, low professional lever of the service personal and so on. The paper, at the same time, from researching the demand and supply of Changsha pension agency's services, concentrated the efforts to identify the contradictions between supply and demand, so as to analyze the reasons between supply and demand, which aimed at finding the solution to the contradictions of supply and demand, and developing better the city pension agency. The results of this study reflected that we should create different forms of pension services and promote the diversification of investment and improve the quality of personnel and carry forward the standardization and specialization. Starting from the.study of the problems, the first part of the Introduction clarified theoretical and practical significance, domestic and international researches and their methods and ideas, which lays a foundation for the discussion below. The second part gave a detailed discussion for the conception of the institutional endowment, demand and supply. The third part analysed the current situation of Changsha city agency's pension services, and found out the existing problems of pension agency services. The fourth part studied the contradictions of supply and demand, analysed and discussed the difficulties and problems in service, management and development, and propose recommendations and countermeasures to agencies for further pension service demand and the contradiction between the supply. The fifth part initially proposed some countermeasures of the pension service in developing cities. The last is a summary of this research, as well as some thinking.
