Study On Migrant Workers' Political Participation Marginalized Problem In Transitional Period

Since the reform and opening up, China is undergoing social transitional period, changes in social class, break through three classes:workers, peasants, intellectuals before the reform and opening up. Currently, through the development of township enterprises and migrant workers in cities have moved about 200 million rural surplus labor force. With the development of China's industrialization and urbanization, the phenomenon that a large number of migrant workers work between urban and rural will exist for a long time in China. migrant workers stratum is already a huge number of interest groups.Migrant workers group is an important force for social and economic development, because of various reasons such as the imperfection of social mechanism, migrant workers are in political participation marginal condition for a long time. If things continue this way it will inevitably lead to the alienation of the political order, if lacking effective governance it surely will affect rural and the whole social harmony and stability, and also affect the smooth progress of the construction of democratic politics in China.Therefore, the study purpose of this article is that by quoting and referencing a lot of empirical research data, combined with the instance data of migrant workers in rural and urban political participation, coming to a conclusion that migrant workers'political participation marginalized status. And based on the conclusion analysing the causes of marginalization, exploring the countermeasures to resolve the political participation marginalization, sequentially to ensure the migrant workers have equal political rights. To further promote our democratic perfection, realize the development of social harmony andstability.Based on summing up the level and defect of domestic and overseas migrant workers political participation suty, to make a deepgoing qualitative analysis on migrant workers political participation'marginalized current situation. It mainly investigates migrant workers political participation from four major aspects:system, organization, economic, and psychology, and further reveals the causes of migrant workers political participation marginalization and points out the adverse effects of the marginal situation to construct democracy and harmonious society, and to call for attention from the relevant departments. And from the four causes:system, organization, economic, and psychology which cause migrant workers political participation marginalization, it makes acountermeasures to resolve marginalization one by one.Innovation of this paper is that mainly through referencing a large number of authoritative empirical data, from the system conditions of migrant workers political participation, organizational conditions, and other objective constraint factors, combined with migrant workers'own psychology, such as constrained economical condition and their own quality on the political participation. Then this paper raises the countermeasure to the innovated mechanism in advancing and promoting the institution, organization, economic, and their own quality in the process of political participation.
