Before the reforming and opening-up, the immigration distance of marriage was short due to lack of information, restrictions of household, and customs and other reasons. Since 1980s, the number of women and distance in marriage migration were both increased a lot. However, there is a few of marriages with two-place household registration in Chinese cities, because of the existence of barriers to marriage. Since the 90s of the 20th century, with Shanghai's rapid economic development and household registration policy relaxation, the phenomenon of two-place household marriages continues to increase. In the middle of 1990s, it formed a strong marriage tide. What's the relationship between the advantages in local marriage market of the females and the "3S Lady" group whose marital status are concerned? As a starting point, the author tried to explain the reasons for the formation of the "3S Lady" group from the view of the interaction of the marriages between urban and rural. What's the role of the social and economic class of "3S Lady" in their choice of marriage? What is the preference of them? What are the advantages and disadvantages of these preferences for them to get marred? This research would emphasize on those questions.This study includes five parts. First chapter is the introduction, the author bring forward the research assumption after the review of the researches about the causation of the "3S Lady" group and their spouse in the marriage. The second chapter mainly explored the history of the formation of "3S Lady" group. In this chapter, author try to excavate the evidence of the existence of "3S Lady" group by cross-comparison of the single rate in different ages and education levels between males and females from the data of the fourth and fifth census. The third chapter is the explanation to the generation of "3S Lady" group from the view of interaction between urban and rural. This chapter mainly based on the evidence of the existence of "3S Lady" in last chapter, finding out the reason for the formation of that group by comparing the attribute structure in the fourth and fifth population census. The fourth chapter is the analysis of the preference for female in spouse. In this chapter, first the author concluded the preference for female in spouse. Second explained the spouse with related theories, and investigated what are the contributing factors existed in the subjective of these unmarried women with such characteristics in the case of that group exists. The fifth chapter is conclusion and outlook. The author refined the findings of the second, third and fourth chapters, and pointed out the problems to be solved in the basis of reflecting inadequate of this article.
