The Design Of Shandong Medical College's Digital Campus Implementation Plan

With development of modern education system continually toward digitization, network and Informationization, the construction of college informationization has stepped into digital campus stage with comprehensive information of teaching, management, office and other aspects from college network stage based on publishing information and file transfer. Construction of Digital Campus is an important means to improve the college efficiency, teaching level and competitive power, and is also the only way to achieve college education informationization.However, at the beginning of building Digital Campus, most colleges didn't realize the difficulty and complexity of this project and lack of planning and foresight in the process of construction, which led to the Phenomenon of "Information Silo" in the course of construction in varying degree. All applications are independent of each other, causing large amounts of data redundancy, which not only led to low utilization of information resources and can not provide effective support to management decision-making; On the other hand, many colleges attach high importance to the construction of the Digital Campus and the annual investment is large, but the university's construction funds are limited. It is common for higher technical and vocational colleges to face fund shortage, which requires higher technical and vocational colleges to focus particularly on the full use of available resources and find a balance between investment and benefits in Digital Campus construction project.Shandong Medical College is a medium-size medical higher technical and vocational college, having commonness in administration and teaching with other higher technical and vocational colleges and its own uniqueness. I had the honor to participate in the establishment of Campus Network Improvement Project and the Digital Campus Construction Program in Shandong Medical College.This paper focuses on the characteristics of the capital, technology, operation model in higher technical and vocational colleges, based on the actual situation at college, in line with principles of sustainable development, researches on college Digital Campus construction strategies and methods, and designs an exchange platform program in accordance with the actual situation at college.
