Teacher professional development is the inevitable trend of modern education.teacher's professional knowledge is an important part of the professional development of teachers. subject matter knowledge is the foundation of teacher's knowledge.it is one major components of teacher's knowledge needed for effective teaching. Probability as a research field of random phenomenon .the teaching of probability have important educational value.Pre-service mathematics teacher and in-service mathematics teachers at different stages of teacher professional development,in order to promote their professional development and effective probability teaching It's of great significance on their subject knowledge of probability for comparative study.This essay used questionnaire survey and interview. comparative study the probability knowledge between pre-service mathmatics teachers and in-service mathmatics teachers.Furthermore.under the framework of evaluation,separately in the term of accuracy/explanatory/relevance dimension to comparative study between prospective mathmatics teachers and in-service mathematics teachers.The study's findings indicate that:(1) Although in-service mathematics teachers were better grasp of subject knowledge than pre-service mathematics teacher preparation, Subject knowledge of teachers of probability are not optimistic; (2) The pre-service mathematics teachers lacks of explanation and understanding of the relevance of subject knowledge on the probability;(3) The pre-service mathematics teachers and in-service mathematics teachers have some mistake recognization about probability learning.At the last of this study,in order to enhance teacher's mathematics understanding of subject knowledge of probability.Some suggestions are proposed for the teacher education, teacher training departments and teachers.
