On Develping College Students' Ability Of Anti-frustration

Nowadays, China is in the transitional period in which enormous reforms have had a great impact on its people's mind and the requirements for its talents. Apart from knowledge, moral, physique and professional skills, the talents have to equip themselves with perseverance and self-improvement to meet the need and challenge of the new era. As future constructors of the motherland, college students are confronted with all kinds of pressure, such as employment pressure, study pressure, financial pressure, social pressure and competition pressure. As a result, a series of psychological problems like self-management, job hunting, personal communication, environment adaptation, role transition, career plan, love affairs, appear. Faced with frustrations, instead of looking for solutions, many students tend to lose their mind and misattribute the cause of failure. It is worrying that, weak in anti-frustration, those students tend to complain, show indifference, escape from difficulties, or even take revenge, which badly damage their physical and psychological health. Thus, educators should put high values on developing students'ability of anti-frustration and enhancing their all-round quality.Reinforced by relevant researches on anti-frustration at home and abroad, along with Karl Marx's theory that socialistic education aims at all-round development, this essay focuses on analyzing college students'response to frustration and giving some advice by means of reference reading, questionaire, interview and practice. This essay intends to help enhance college students'ability of anti-frustration, lead them to face with frustrations in a correct way and give their educators practical suggestions.
