The main content of this thesis is to research the present training programs and training strategies for English teacher's of Shibei District of Qingdao. In recent years, the research interesting on teachers'training is rising rapidly in advanced countries. And it is also attached importance to teacher's training in China. The abilities of teachers have respect to the success of eaducation reform and the development of comprehensive national power.With the fast transform of sociaty and ecomony, the efforts of teacher's training have been imporving rapidly and reaching an outstanding achievement. However, some problems occurred followlly, for instance, the separated training institutions, the low efficient utility of superior resources, the over-reality training objectives, the unpractical training content, the lockstep and mechanical training methods, the process overlooked and result emphasized evaluation systems, etc. All these problems restrict the efficiency of teacher's training and the enthusiasm of teachers'learning. It is proved that class-model training way is a new form for class reserching. It is a better way for teachers to improve their major ability, to arouse the awareness of lifelong learning and to form the teams for learning, which all contribute to enhencing the training efficiency.This paper is written based on Constructivism, Multiple Intelligences, Humanism theory and Hierarchy theory of needs etc. as its theory support. The English teachers of Shibei District are its research objects and parts of Junior and primary schools in Shibei District are its survey objects. The main research methods are documentary method, investigation method, interviewing method, observational method, etc. And the main content are followings three aspects. One is to survey the recent teacher's training programms of Shibei District; another one is to the find the present problems in teacher's training and analyze the reasons; the third one is improve and optimize the training strategies.The following research results are coming into conclusion. Firstly, the main training problems of teachers are as follows, they're utilitarian-oriential training aims, barely satisfactory training effects, unpractical training content, repeated training authorites, monotonous training methods. Thus, we need to learn more advanced experience envolving deep thingkings and practice more after reflections in order to create the training models and increase the efficiency. Secondly, The main task for teachers as well as our basic level teacher's training institutions are acknowledging the histrory, current and future tendency of teacher's training at home and aboard, reconsolidationing the superior education resources, creating training models, offering people-oriential, efficient and modern training programmes so as to cultivate high quality teachers with high learning, cooperative and educational abilities. Thirdly, class-model training method excert an active influence on English teachers in their major improvement, lifelong development and personal perfection.
