Harmonious society needs harmonious education which is necessarily based on harmonious classroom. The construction of harmonious classroom is carried out certain disciplines. The proposing of harmonious English classroom is based on the background of harmonious society, advocating harmonious education. The construction of harmonious classroom aims to realize a dynamic and enactment state that embodies subject characters and with all the factors developing cooperatively. Harmony of English classroom includes cognitive harmony, emotional harmony, developmental harmony and also harmonies in four aspects: teaching objectives, students'proficiency, students'subject and teachers'guidance, teaching skills and learning strategies, individual diversity and all-around development. It's not only the subjective requirement to improve the English comprehensive abilities, but also the objective need to promote harmonious education and new curriculum reform.The research begins with the elements of constructing English classroom, analyzes the roles of elements in classroom, states the characteristic of junior English and the harmonious English classroom, proposes the strategies of solutions. Based on the above thoughts, the dissertation consists of the following parts:Preface: Introduction of the research in origin, thinking clues, methods, value and significance, literature review. Firstly, review the relevant research product in harmonious classroom and English education. Secondly, define the core concepts.Part one: State mainly from characteristic of junior English, features of middle school students and current English teaching material.Part two: Features of harmonious English classroom in secondary school. It's analyzed from teaching aims, teaching material, relationships of teachers and students, study process, teaching methods, teaching evaluation.Part three: Analyze elements and function in English classroom. According to system's view, introduce the roles of teacher, student, teaching methods, study ways, teaching media, classroom environment, classroom assessment. Part four: Strategies of matter. The research explores from four aspects: firstly, to inspire students'interests of English study; secondly, to advocate interactive teaching; thirdly, to cultivate cross-cultural consciousness; fourthly, to reinforce developmental classroom assessment.Conclusion: To conclude the meaning of strategies of constructing harmonious classroom of junior English.
