Teachers have the important task of improving teaching quality and culturing talents for the country. For Beijing Sport University with its goal of establishing a domestic first-class, internationally renowned sport university, it is an urgent task to find ways of establishing a scientific motivation program which is advantageous for optimizing the structure of teaching profession, promoting Subjects development level and strengthening university through talents.Based on Abraham Harlod Maslow's "Needs Hierarchy Theory", the teachers'needs are partitioned into professional development needs, economic needs and environmental needs according to the actual needs The author adopts the following method in this paper, literature review, questionnaires, individual interview to analyze the effectiveness of incentive mechanisms recently implemented by Beijing Sport University. We can draw the following conclusions:the cognition of needs on professional development, economic and environmental have significant difference. Teachers were generally satisfied with the current occupation.
