Teachers, as the carrier of educational conception, practitioner and organizer of the education, play a fundamental role in education. With quality structure of physical education teachers in universities in Shandong Province as the research object, using literature data method, questionnaire and mathematical statistics research methods, the thesis systematically studies the actual status of the quality structure of the physical education teachers in universities in Shandong Province, and puts forward a series of strategies of optimization for PE teachers quality structure. This paper is of great theoretic value and practical significance in understanding quality structure status of PE teachers in universities, fully implementing the nurturing of a new generation of high qualified PE teachers, and deepening PE teaching reform.
