Research On Chinese Women Development On The Background Of The Construction Of The Socialist Harmonious Society

"Women development" is a new concept appeared in our country in the end of the twentieth century. With the development of people's study on human, the influence of western feminism and female problem that appeared in the process of social transformation, people began to focus on women development, and it was a new perspective in the field of women' study.The level of women's development is an important index of social development and social progress. Promoting women's development and improving women' ability to participate in the construction of the Socialist Harmonious Society becomes indispensable.Firstly, this paper examined the development of women, criticized unequal relations between men and women, sought the sources of inequality and their solutions from the perspective of gender theory, and then discussed the human's development and contemporary forms of women' development in the framework of historical materialism.Secondly, with the significance of women' development in the construction of the Socialist Harmonious Society, this article analyzed the actual state and troubles in women's development from three aspects, including economic and political participation of women and educational rights. In addition, there are also unfavorable factors, so we have to find ways to solve them and promote the development of women.Thirdly, network information, market economy and democratic political environment provide women with good chances. This article put forward three ways to advance women development from economy, policy support, and cultural environments.Finally, the article pointed out that the whole community should have a correct understanding of the significance of women's development, and create an equality based on difference, and pay attention to the dignity and freedom of women, while women helped the construction of the socialist harmonious society.
