China start a new round of curriculum reform of basic education since 2001, high school history curriculum as one of the core curriculum courses gets more attention. History textbook reform began after the formation of Curriculum Objective. History Textbook Reform of the United States began after World War II, with the wave of curriculum reform, and gradually formed a system.In this paper, through the use of the literature collection method, case analysis and other methods to comparing the more popular Sino-US high school history textbooks, and comparative analysis of two high school history textbooks reflect the curriculum objective of the similarities and differences, to explore differences for the history of our curriculum standards and textbooks Reform and positive for our current history curriculum reform, especially the reference reform of textbooks.The thesis consists of five parts:In the first part, the author mainly discusses the research issues and introduces some relevant researches by history teachers of home and abroad, and on this basis, to clarify the basic idea of this study.In the second part, introduces the standard of American high school history curriculum objectives and a brief introduction of history textbooks, through the "American War of Independence" this lesson, from the perspective of the curriculum objectives to elaborate the reflection of the U.S. high school history textbooks on the curriculum objectives.In the third part, introduces the standard of Chinese high school history curriculum objectives and a brief introduction of history textbooks, through the "Anti-Japanese War" this lesson, from the perspective of the curriculum objectives to elaborate the reflection of the China high school history textbooks on the curriculum objectives.In the fourth part, based on the former case analysis and comparative studies on the target obtained the history textbooks of China and the U.S. high school the similarities and differences in the curriculum objectives, and discusses the prospects for reform in our China history textbooks.In the fifth part, through discussing the status and role of history textbooks in the curriculum reform to analyze findings of the study and reform of China's history textbooks to make the following recommendations:In terms of content, to improve the ability of students to analyze the history and decision-making capability; drawn in terms of history textbooks should be strengthening social history, economic history, history of science and technology and other aspects of knowledge; in structure, a clear sequence of historical development, avoiding duplication of the content of different structures; to train students in the macro-inclusive multi-cultural concepts; at the macro, to train students getting the multi-cultural concept of inclusive.
