The Investigation And Research On The Current Situation Of General University's Wushu Teams In Xinjiang

Wushu is a traditional athletics item in our country. Which is always the key construction program in universities and colleges, therefore is paid great attention to. So far, there have been 235 universities and colleges which try setting up high level sports teams, among which there are over 40 ones setting up Wushu item, according to the number of schools, the Wushu item ramk the sixth in all items. This grave measure makes universitis'Wushu sport training greatly take place as well as achieving some success. However, behind the gratifying aspect, we can't neglect the sustainous development in common. Wushu teams in universities. After all, there are still several hundred universities and colleges without high leve Wushu teams, and there developing conditionas will directly influence the whole level in all.The research focuses on the eight Wushu teams coming form Xinjiang universities who attended the Universities students Martial Game in 2006-2008. By means of literature data, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics, expert interview etc, the author investigates the coaches'present conditions, the athletes'present conditions, the present organization and management conditions and the existing problems, etc to analyse all the factors influencing players'tournamental level exaltation and then puts forward the constructive problem-solving methods, pushing Xinjiang Universities'Wushu teams to develop further in the normal and scientific directions so as to offer. Some real materials and decision basis for the ministry of Education and the management organizationsThe research result proves that there exist the following problems: (1) The target of setting-up sports team is not explicit; (2) The athlete sports grade is low and student source structure is not reasonal, besides, material-occuping area is small; (3) The conflicts between learning and training are outstanding; (4) A lack of the development to the coach groups, the coaches'professionalization; (5) The management system isn't reasonal and lacks scientific management; (6) The opportunity for taking part in games is little, the game specification is low and the contest system is not perfect; (7) The source outlet of the sports teams is unitary; (8) The place device condition and logistics guarantee are in sufficient.The counter measure is as follows: (1) The target should be explicit; (2) Scientifically choose the materials and explore many developing modes to tram spare talented persons; (3) Reasonably solve the contradiction between learning and training; (4) Strengthen the coach group construction, improving the business level of the exaltation coaches; (5) Strengthen scientific management, normalizing management systems; (6) Perfect contest management system, fully exertive contest function; (7) Speed up the sports team'market-turning progress, opening the budget source and forming diverse budget structure; (8) make full use of resources, establishing the whole scientific training mode, integrating game, training medical research, and logistics together.
