At present, female postgraduate, who were born in 1980s are get in the gold time to build a family. But for the age, educational background and other reasons, there has been marriage difficult situation. So the dilemmas of their choosing spouses have already gradually got into the researcher's view as well. Although the domestic and international academic research in the choice of a partner gained fruitful results have been cited, mostly is focusing on choosing spouse base, choosing spouse standard and choose spouse value theory, but the issue about female graduate students difficulties encountered in mate choice is not yet a lot of research.Based on this, mainly in depth interviews and documentation study, focusing on analysis of those Female graduate students in the marriage market difficulties encountered in mate choice, mate choice and female graduate students the parties - the psychological and mate choice male mate preferences are discussed, focusing on analysis of those Female graduate students in the marriage market difficulties encountered in mate choice. The research discovers that they are both traditional and modern mate choice criteria, combined with the busy school, age of increased awareness of ways of reduction in passive mode as well as customary waiting mate mentality, etc, are all to varying degrees, affecting their mate choice, but the writer thinks that these are not the root reason of the difficulty of choosing a spouse. From a gender perspective, because of male and female's gendered role, the society separate positions the different roles of male and female, such as the male be positioned to the society, female be positioned at home etc, they gradually approve and identity their gendered roles in the process of acculturation, and formed the fixed gender stereotypes. In male's fixed gender stereotypes, women should and must have a "feminine", but also gentle and virtuous, as men's "back-standing supporter," but accepted the 10 years of higher education of women graduate students tend to their own businesses will no longer confined to the family, thus, the role of female graduate students for self-positioning and men about their role expectations emerged dislocation. I think this is the root and systematic reason of that female graduate students challenge mate choice dilemmas.
