The Control Engineering Techniques And The Design Of Multimedia CM (MCAI)

This paper develops the Multimedia Computer-Assisted Instruction of Control Engineering Course (CEC-MCAI) courseware which is based on the control engineering techniques of the Control Engineering Course of the undergraduate students of engineering. Surrounding the aims and characteristics of Control Engineering Course, it selects and designs the information of teaching media reasonably, and utilizes adequately medium such as text, graphics, images, animations, audio sound and so on. The courseware makes the abstract content methodical and vivid, and can also lead the students?thoughts to developing in depth. On the other hand, it cooperates the network teaching of colleges and universities.The main achievements of the paper are listed as follows:1.According to the teaching content and characteristics of Control Engineering Course, puts forward a new pattern of MCAI, which combines three kinds of conventional pattern: cognitive apprentice, computer-supported teaching, drill and practice;2.Based on the using traits of the CEC-MCAI courseware, brings forward the design idea: selecting information structure on the knowledge frame, common control structure on the control frame, multiple structure on the organizing frame of content;3.Analyzes the system of the CEC-MCAI courseware which including therequirement analysis and the content analysis, and presents the general scheme of CEC-MCAI courseware, which surrounds the development feature of combining the teaching design and the software engineering, including the teaching design scheme and the structure design scheme of the system;4.After the process of the multimedia materials collected such as graphics, images, audio sound, text, animations and so on, finishes the design of the interface with the feature of consistence, adaptability, definition, celerity, fault tolerance andWYSWYG;5.Puts forward the idea of using both the multimedia authoring system and the traditional programming language to develop the CEC-MCAI courseware, and accordingly selects Director and VB;6.Implements the function of drawing curves and the establishment of exercise database library by using VB, and integrates the system of the CEC-MCAI course by using Director.
