MASTERS THESIS Abstract By means of adopting questionairs, this thesis briefly looks into some middle school teachers?knowledge about mathematical history, and points out lots of middle school teachers?shortage in mathematical history Then analysizes its causing ,and also makes a wide discussion about the relationship between mathematical history and mathmatics education, demonstrates it is necessory and important for middle school teachers to strengthen studying mathematical history ; moreover, this paper puts forward some strategies, which may get rid of middle school teachers?shortage in mathematical history.
