In recent years, although training master student of teacher education has made great progress in China, there are still some unsatisfied problems now. Therefore, how to solve those problems is the most pressing task at present. Rested on this point, the thesis is a comparative study on teacher education in training master student between China and America.At first, it briefly introduces the history foundations of teacher education in training master student of both America and China. Next, it specifically compares American education model with China's in the following respects: admission system, training objective and teaching program, training model, educational evaluation that is mainly focused on master students' of normal education, which is made up from three parts: credit system and GPA, exam system and thesis. . In addition, it concludes by saying that the two countries all have their own characteristics in training master student, and we should learn from American strong points to offset our own weakness.Finally, according to the comparative results above, some feasible suggestions are put forward for fostering master student of teacher education in China. First, heightening cooperation among countries, which includes training master students together and sends exchange oversea students, is in order to promote the development of teacher education in training master student and to carry out internationally academic communication activities. Second, it is an urgent duty that forming a diversity of training model is through improving comprehensive strength and education level of normal colleges and universities. Third, it's concerning enlarging master students' enrollment and ensuring their education quality by practicing routine checks. Fourth, adjusting the training objective of master student is indispensable to teacher education so as to cultivating creative talents who hold the spirit of bringing forth new ideas and creative ability. At last, it's about strengthening the proportion of the courses-IV-offered and its variety etc.At the same time, we should realize that training master student plays a very important role in teacher education, and it must be assured that being future teachers, master students not only study professional knowledge and fundamental theories, but master practically teaching abilities and have creative mind.In this way, training master student of teacher education would march on towards a promising future in China.
