With the fast development of science and technology, the human society has entered the twenty-one-nineties after experienced agricultural and industrial economy, and in the meantime modern science and technology develops extremely quickly with the intellectual economy just starting to develop. In face of the strong attack of new technical revolution brought to the whole society and humanity, the waves of education innovation is set off across the world with the focus on how to bring up high quality personnel to be ready for future social challenges as well as how to improve the complete quality of citizens in order to ensure the survival of our own country and peoples during competitions.Keeping the same step as the worldwide education innovation, a second great and deep revolution in this century on education concept rose quietly all over the country in the middle age of twenty-eighties, which strongly advocated the quality education idea of focusing on achieving overall development of people. However in a certain period, we are short of clear recognition and deep study about the meaning of quality education together with its theory basis, therefore we don't know how to start with the quality education. According to this situation, and based on knowledge and theory of relevant subjects such as scientific technology philosophy, education philosophy, psychology, cultural philosophy and systematic science etc., this document, starting with the concept of education and education ideas, recounting the creation, occurrence and development history of education ideas along the trail of changes of natural concept and exploring the relationship between education ideas and time spirit, analyzes the humanity and discovers time features of current education ideas.This document consists of five chapters. In foreword, it mainly introduces the proposition of this topic, the study developments, target, meaning, method and clew at home and abroad as well as the possible innovation and shortcoming. Chapter one - general description of education ideas. It states the definition and features of education ideas and concepts, philosophy basis of education ideas and theory background, definition and meaning of quality education. Chapter two - evolvement of education ideas. Analyzes and creates in detail the creation, occurrence and development process of education ideas in ancient, recent and modern times along the trail of changes of natural concept. It also statesthat putting humanity at a premium and centralizing on human being is not only the demand and trend of time development but the direction of current education revolution as well. Chapter three - personality and quality education. With the help of humanity system model, analyzes and states quite concretely the relationship between the formation of personality and quality education, based on which, it states the effect that quality education played on personal development. Chapter four - situation and analysis on current education. By comparison of current education situation between China and western countries, systematically analyzes main problems existed in current education, discovers the root resource of these problems. Chapter five - direction of China education in new era - quality education. Through analyzing the development situation of current China, scientifically analyzes the historic position of current China education and then forecasts the time features of quality education advocated by the time.
