The objective external environment condition that we live in is the basis of the formation and development of the ideological morality. To the middle school students, the formation and development of their ideological morality rely on both their own physiology and the objective external environment. And the external environment includes both the natural and the social environment. It is the social environment that has the greatest influence on the middle school students, which also plays an essential role on the formation and development of their ideological morality. Thus, we should use the view of Marxist dialectical and historical materialism, carefully analyze and evaluate the influence of the social environment to the middle school students, and put forward some measures to make the environment better. All above show an obvious and active significance to promote the formation and development of the middle school students' ideological morality. The thesis consists of four parts:Part one: The author concretely analyzes the meanings and functions of the social environment. This part is the theoretical basis of the thesis. Firstly, the author makes an introduction of the social environment, and divides the introduction into several parts according to the different criteria. Secondly, the author explains the promoting, restraining and potentially affecting functions of the social environment.Part two: In this part, the author states the ideological morality that the middle school students are expected to possess according to the outline of themorality for the middle school students, which is issued by the State Education Commission. And the author also analyzes the present condition of the middle school students' ideological morality.Part three: This part should be the center of this thesis. It mainly tells how the social environment influences the middle school students' ideological morality. Firstly, the author analyzes the influences of the macro-social environment, including the economic, political, cultural and the public media environment. Secondly, the author tells the influence of the community. Thirdly, the author analyzes the influence of the school. Finally, the author indicates the influence family.Part four: It indicates how to improve the social environment. And this part isthe conclusion of the thesis. The author brings out some appropriate measuresaccording to many kinds of influences of the social environment on the middleschool students' morality. Measures taken:i. Purify the macro-social environment so as to provide a sound livingenvironment for the growth of the middle school students, ii. Perfect the social environment to set up a harmony environment, iii. Improve the school environment to build a fine study condition so as tomodernize the ideological morality education, iv. Closely connect the communities, the families with the schools to provide aneffective and operational mode for the ideological morality education in themiddle schools.
