Collage Moral Education In The Era Of Network: Its Innovation And Development

Since 1990s, the problem of network and its influence on society have led to extensive attention of academic circles. In the era of network, the changes of university students' moral character and the solution toward these changes have become a significant search topic in college moral education. The paper explores new ideas and development of moral education on the basis of now available materials and related theories. The research proves that the students' world outlook, life outlook, social values and moral concepts present differences partially; their social ideal belief faces severe challenges; substantial results of social value education reduce; moral maintenance in network becomes more difficult and some new moral problems come into being. In view of the situation brought by the influence of network, the thesis also brings forth new ideas and development in college moral education: 1) Moral education patterns can be changed from mandatory inculcation to guided construction and from static state to dynamic state, etc. 2) The content of moral education should be aimed at building students' main moral quality in order to form a coherent system; 3) One-way propagation can be changed into two-way's by using network so as to develop a new way of network moral education. 4) Adopt several ways to appraise moral education. For example, combining self-evaluation with others' evaluation, qualitative evaluation with quantitative evaluation and on-net evaluation with out-net evaluation, etc. 5) Moral education management needs more attention on the principles and the staff of campus network in order to perfect the management system.
