A Study On The Present Condition And Development Strategies Of The Professionalization Reform Of The Volleyball In China

It is the tendency and tide to carry out the clubs system and to be in the professionalization way for the development of the volleyball all over the world. To comply with the tide, the volleyball system in China has been professionalizationed since 1996.During the 7 years, such progress as enliving the volleyball market, modeling the volleyball atmosphere, raising the level and improving the existing environment have been made, but there still existed such shortcomings as the overall extent of the prof essionalization level of the volleyball is low, the volleyball market is humble, the management of the clubs is difficult and the reform walks with difficulty. The main cause causing the present condition is that the reform of the volleyball system is not thorough. For example the degree of the professionalization is not high, the management system of the clubs is not perfect, the development of the market is not enough, the train system and the fostering system of the reserve talent are backward and so on.By using the methods of document, questionnaire investigation,visiting and comparation, the professionalization reform of the volleyball in China is studied totally and systemically. Besides expounding the basic course of the development of the professionalization reform of the volleyball in China, this article analyzes the management, organization, the income of the players, the flowing of the talent, the construction of the contingent,too. After synthesizing the result of document and the questionnaire , the following conclusion are drawn.1. Because of the national condition and the event itself, the professionalization reform of the volleyball in China is still immature;2. The main shortcomings in the professionalization reform of the volleyball in China are: the national condition is not suitable for carrying out the reform totally; the real system is not built up, and the system now is only a semiprofessionalization one; the attraction of the volleyball itself is not enough; the propaganda of the media is not powerful; the flowing mechanism of the talent of the volleyball is not unblocked; the talent of the volleyball is deficient;3. The main strategies for deepening the reform are: to establish a perfect management system of clubs; to form a benign circle operational mechanism; to nurture a prosperous volleyball market; to foster plenty of reserve talent; to strengthen the cooperation with the media; to foster a great deal of volleyball stars.
