A Study Of Developing And Utilizing The Stadia And Gymnasia In Changsha

This article is based on the study of Changsha city. By comparing with the situation of the construction and the management between domestic and international stadia and gymnasia, it analyses the current situation of the stadia and gymnasia in Changsha and points out the problems in developing and utilizing the stadia and gymnasia. It also probes into the suitable action to develop the stadia and gymnasia rationally. Further more, this article makes a developing plan of the important stadia and gymnasia and constructs the space pattern of the stadia and gymnasia in Changsha. The contents are divided into five parts:The first part introduces the theoretical and the realistic meaning of choosing the topic. It summarizes the current situation and the developing trend of the construction and the management of the stadia and gymnasia in and out of China.The second part analyses the current situation of the stadia and gymnasia in Changsha. It definines the comprehensive judging quota of the stadia and gymnasia, compares and classifies the judging quota by cluster analysis and establishes the dynamic judging system by obscure comprehensive judgement. By the study of Helong stadium, from qualitative to quantitative analysis, it finds that there are some major problems in developing and utilizing the stadiums in Changsha. Such as less quantity of stadia and gymnasia, serious situation of repeated construction, backward management, seldom opening to the outside, outstanding contradiction between social benefit and economic benefit, high charge, and the lack of good manager.The third part clears the guiding ideology of developing and utilizing the stadia and gymnasia rationally. It emphasizes on the reasonable plan, the comprehensive function and the industrial development of the stadia and gymnasia.The fifth part establishes the whole developing system of the stadia and gymnasia in Changsha. It focuses on the new century sports cultural center of Changsha, sports Xincheng of Changsha, golf links of Changsha, and the development of the area around the stadia and gymnasia, so that they will set examples and popularize the development of the large stadia and gymnasia by the successful plan of the developing model. It also constructs the space pattern of "one center, a link, four districts, more places" in Changsha according to the idea "develop the large stadia and gymnasia from city to suburbs, emphasize on the development of the large stadia and gymnasia, develop middle and small stadia and gymnasia in community, make a full use of the radiative function of city in order to promote the development of the area around."The fifth part points out that industrialization is the only way to develop the stadia and gymnasia in Changsha. It proposes some countermeasures on the basis of the construction of the stadia and gymnasia, the management of the stadia and gymnasia and the guarantee of the policies and the laws.
