Dongfeng middle school is an army-hosted school in Jiuquan satellite launch center. Many problems such as the mobility of teachers, non-stability of teachers, disadvantage of teachers' welfare and specialty different from other areas are far more completed. Especially with development of quality education and system reforms of school management, these problems are more protrusive. Therefore it's a principal subject for Dongfeng middle school how to stabilize the teachers' contingent, improve teachers' quality and promote instruction quality.This thesis has made a research in faculty management in Dongfeng middle school of Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center with the methods of documentation, interview, observation and system under the guidance of modern management theories. It provides some measures and suggestions for these problems, which are expected to be reference for the Center to make policies, and for Dongfeng middle school to reform its management and to promote its effectiveness.The introduction of the thesis describes the purpose and significance of the research, outlines the development of faculty management in common middle schools in China, and introduces the methods the research has adopted.Chapter one applies the systematic method to analyzing the process of faculty management as a system by the approach of "system-factors-structure-functions-relations" from verticality to horizontality as well as from static state to dynamic state, which helps us with a general comprehension of faculty management. This has laid the foundation for the research and for the methodology.Chapter two gives a brief introduction to the surroundings and status of Dongfeng middle school.Chapter three generalizes the main problems that exist in schoolfaculty management, analyzes the reasons that lead to.Chapter four puts forward some practical measures and suggestions under the guidance of modern theories on school management. The author's viewpoint of raising Collective Study Spirit establishes a far-seeing aim for continuous development of faculty management in Dongfeng middle school.The last chapter discusses the attitudes and tactics we might adopt in reform of faculty management.
