Since 1980s, the study of Learning Strategies has become one of the focuses of contemporary cognitive psychology and study psychology. The domestic research that combines studying tactics and geography study of senior middle school is still relatively rare.Learning Strategies is about the study strategies of the learners, is a series of tactic knowledge which directs against the study contents and combines the learner's studying foundation and study characteristics to transfer their learning methods and make self- control, aiming at improving their learning efficiency. In the opinions of most teachers and students, learning strategies are equal to learning methods. So the educational reform still stays on the innovations of the teaching methods and teaching means. So the students' studying state does not have substantive change. I personally think that the research of learning tactics is a breach of the educational reform in secondary school education. The study revolution is certainly a revolution in learning strategiesThis article uses many scientific research approaches such as document method, questionnaire investigation method, talk investigation method and summarizing experience method. The full text is divided into four parts. The first two parts make a summary and a deepen discussion on question backgrounds, as well as the essence, the essential features and the forming of learning tactics. What's more, my own views have been put forward in it. Especially about the composition of studying tactics, I think that the controlling and managing tactic of the students' non-cognitive (non-intelligent factor) factors in learning situations is also one part and one of the main contents of learning strategies since its influence of studying on students is enormous. The third part makes a full analyses and some research on the characteristics and the contents of geography in Senior Middle school, the students' cognitive characteristics and the current situation about geographical study. The fourth part is a painstaking discussion on Senior Middle school geographical learning strategies from different apects of non- cognitive factors: the controlling and managing strategies, the cognitive strategies and the original cognitive tactics. Ithas summarized the strategies of the application of maps, the use of comparative law tactics, the comprehensive analyse tactics and researching learning strategies etc.I think, while studying in high school geography, it's very important to know the learning strategies, form good learning strategies, use learning strategic and optimize learning strategic in improving the Senior Middle school geographical learning efficiency.
