In order to reach the training goal of middle vocational technology education, according to research of the source and characters of students in middle vocational technology schools, the author studies how to take Science, Technology and Society (STS) education into physics teaching in middle vocational technology education mainly from the following aspects:1. Find out the source and characters of students by visits and surveys of many middle vocational technology schools in Xiamen. And understand the students' knowledge and viewpoint towards Science, Technology, Society and their relationship through surveys and questionnaire.2. Explore the principles, teaching strategies, methods and approach that are taken STS education into physics teaching in middle vocational technology education.3. Deploy the practice of taking STS education into physics teaching in middle vocational technology education.Through a year's exploring and practice, the author verifies that STS education will help to spirit up students' enthusiasm for study, and help them improve their scientific accomplishment, form the correct scientific axiology and strengthen their social responsibilities. STS education presented in physics teaching in middle vocational technology education will become a good foundation and beginning for students' social employment and lifelong development.
