Curriculum reform is not only an outbreak point of education reform,but also a core problem in our implementing quality-education currently. First of all, regarding curriculum reform in the primary school of New China as a research object, the paper, with four stages of history, comparatively systematically looks back the course of curriculum reform. And then it further analyses the aspects of curriculum management structure, curriculum pattern, time-total of curriculum and so on. In order to describe the course and characteristics about curriculum reform in details, taking Chinese, Common knowledge of the primary school for examples, the author has been carrying out investigations on some typical subjects. Finally, it points out some experience and enlightenment about curriculum reform in the primary school of New China which includes rationally reinforcing proportion distribution of time-total of curriculum, offering comprehensive curriculum, promoting curriculum management elasticity, paying attention to developing students' individuality and so on.
