Javelin throw is a skill-integrating one of track and field events. Just because of that, javelin is very interesting and admirable. It comes from ancient Olympic and comes into China in neoteric times. But from that times our man's javelin throw level is always under the world level with a difference of 14m-24m. We shot the technique of the last tow stripe about eight athletes in Javelin Throw final at the 2003 National Championships In Athletics (NCA) with the shot method of single reference point and resolve the image with the Aijie sport image resolution system version 7.1, and the data are analyzed with SPSS 10.0. Researching the previous theory and practice study, we can get the following conclusions, which is hoped to be useful reference materials for the later research and training.a) It is different between Chinese excellent athletes and foreign in javelin throw. The former is below the later in body parameters.b) The athletes in javelin at NCA are similar as the world athlete in the left foot contact (LFC) time before the crossover stride. There is a great difference among the eight athletes in the games in the time of the flight during the crossover stride, and there is no difference statistically between national and international athletes. When they begin the final throw, they take the same technique style-single left leg support.c) The athletes' cg's level velocity is lower than the world athletes. During the last two strides, the rates of level velocity losing are very different in the eight athletes. The speed athletes who purchase high speed during the whole course of throwing have a lower rate of velocity losing than the strength athlete. And all the athletes are purchasing rigidity support of left leg.d) All the eight athletes pay attention to their body pose-the back obliquity rage from 18 to 22 that is same as the world class. At the time of final throw, there is a great difference on the draw angle of sword arm in the eight athletes.e) The velocity of the final throw ranges from 26m/s to 28m/s in the javelin final at 2003 NCA. The angle of release and the attack angle correspond to the date of experiment. The release point is lower than the world class' and it is almost in a perpendicular with the cg or a little backer than the cg.
