The thesis is a phase summary of collaboration action research on composition teaching, which was carried out by a Chinese teacher of a primary school in northwestern ethnic minority and me. During this collaborative action research, we communicated, inspired and improved each other by the ways of classroom observations, discussions, interviews and writing research diaries. In practice, we gradually had groped for a method of improving the level of the common spoken Chinese in Ganzanggou by the research of the composition teaching, and inquired a way of composition teaching which was suitable to local areas and local nationality, and tried to change the current conditions of composition teaching and advance the students' development, and improve the level of writing and language expression of students. The main findings are as follows:I . In the rural poor areas, there is a close relationship between the oral improvement and the composition teaching. Improving the composition is a method of improving the ability of the common spoken Chinese. The social development makes communication become more, so it is important to improve the level of the common spoken Chinese in northwestern rural. Strengthening the composition teaching is beneficial to exercise the common spoken Chinese.II. In northwestern minority nationality poor rural areas, combining student's life and composition is an effective patter of composition teaching. Observing the life carefully and thinking it are the prerequisites of composition. During composition teaching, it is the key that teacher guides student to ferment the materials of live. In northwestern poor rural, the composition must get rid of the limit of textbook. The composition teaching must keep relate in contact with student's life.III. Through research actions of composition teaching, teacher's role has changed. Seeing from the relationship between teacher and student, the view that teacher is the leading role of teaching but student is the minor role of teaching has changed. Seeing from teacher self, teacher not only passes on knowledge to student, but also researches the teaching. Teacher must get rid of the limit of books, and use the resources of the local to research the teaching. So teacher carrying out the research action of teaching is a way to change the teacher's views.IV. The composition teaching plays an important role on improving student's overall abilities. In the action of composition teaching, students not only improve the level of writing and speaking, but also are educated in the aspects of the morals and the beauty.
