The Positioning Study Of The Development Of Middle Vocational Education In Qijiang County, Chongqing

The economic development in West China lays influence upon the process of modernization of China. To improve the quality of the majority of the labourers is the fore-condition of guaranteeing the sustainable, fast and healthy development of West China. The formation and improvement of the labourers' skills, capabilities and general quality require us to practicably and effectively speed up the development of the west vocational education, especially the middle vocational education in the vast west mountainous and rural areas.On the basis of the deep and careful investigations and interviews, this article has summarized the problems in the process of the middle vocational education serving the local economic and social development. It has deeply analyzed many factors which have confined the healthy and sustainable development of the middle vocational education of Qi Jiang. Consequently, the crucial cause that the development of middle vocational education of Qi Jiang has been misled has been found out. And then, allowing for the new situations of China entering the WTO, the implement of the west development strategies, the rising of intellectual economy and so on as well as the condition of Qi Jiang itself, this article puts forward the idea of positioning the development of the middle vocational education which applies to the new demand of the local economy and community as well as the relative protective measures. It explores the right direction for the healthy and sustainable development of the middle vocational education of Qi Jiang and other nearby west counties and regions.
