It is the requirement of society, country and personality to improve teenager's science andtechnology literacy, it is also the aim of teenager's science and technology education. With theexploring of science and technology literacy's connotation, this paper constructed an elementarymodel of teenager's science and technology literacy,it can be used to measure the level ofteenager's science and technology literacy, and help us to understand the problems of science andtechnology education resource, etc. School is the central location of teenager's science andtechnology education, but the condition of teenager's science and technology literacy is still notideal. One of the factors which hampers science and technology education is the limitation ofeducation resource in school, so it is necessary to make use of science and technology educationresource in society. The paper defined the connotation and extension of science and technologyeducation resource in society ,summarized and analyzed the circumstance of utilizing educationresource in society, educed some shortcomings and problems, and then gave some proposals.Additionally, "2049 Shanghai experimental project "was adopted as an typical example in thepaper, which can bring us some new revelations. The writer hopes that the research can help us tomake full use of science and technology education resource in society,improving teenager'sscience and technology literacy.
