In modern times, people begin to realize that the essence of international competition is competition of education; pedagogy is the main focus of competition .In order to develop qualities and abilities of students in teaching, public pedagogy is necessary, its results has an direct influence on the more of graduates and reforms of teaching. What about the conditions of teachers teaching pedagogy in De Zhou College?With many interviews, visiting classes and retrospect, I find that there are lots of problems relations to the teaching of pedagogy in De Zhou College. They are mainly focusing on the following aspects: many teachers can not show vivid, convinced example because of lacking of teaching in primary and middle school and being not good at digesting and accumulations experiences. Without combining actual situation, the classes leave students no impression. There is only fifty-four periods for the teaching of pedagogy every term, and collective teaching is chosen on this subject casually more than one hundred student. It is believed that the aim of this subject in De Zhou College is to enable students grasp educational theory at certain level, develop basic skills and ideas about education so that students are keen and competent in the future. That overestimates the real effect of pedagogy teaching and enlarges its function as well. Public pedagogy teaching is contained in a sense of compulsory public subjects, just liked college English and PE, looked on as non-specialized course. The system covers educational basic theory, teaching theory, moral education theory, teacher theory, school-manage theory and so on. The abundant contents arouse redundancy and have negative effect on itself. Interaction in classes is indispensable, but another scenic appears on pedagogy' teaching: teachers play the leading role, lacking innovation, ignoring the use of technology in teaching. The main form of examination is finishing question on papers. Filling in the blanks, explaining terminologies, making choice and giving simple answer make up the whole examination papers. According to the rule, as public course, its one period only amount to 0.8 period of specialized course and promotion mainly depends on themarks of scientific research. This leads to the result of neglecting teaching.As one characteristic subject of normal universities, how can it resolve the problems and meet the need of education innovation? First, reasonable aim must be set with moderate expectation, the main task of pedagogy' classes to improve theoretical accomplishment of the students. Second, great emphasis must be put on the subject. In view of teacher cultivation, the courses of pedagogy are also specialized courses. At the same time, this is the need of specialization of teaching on the basis of that, preferential policy must be made and more funds must be allocated. Third, in order to improve the effects of teaching, various kinds of teaching organization must be adopted. Fourth, with the purpose of creating scientific and reasonable theoretical system teachers must be involved in. Fifth, student-centered model must be established. Sixth, teacher training must be strengthened, enhancing career quality. Seventh, teaching method must be improved with more practice exercise. Eighth, impartial evaluation system must be set up.According to the analysis of class teaching in De Zhou College, I explore the problems of teachers, students, teaching content, teaching method, teaching pattern, teaching management and so on. The cultivation of educational accomplishment is complicated process and must advance gradually. Great effort must be made. The thesis is only doing discussion on the view of theory. There is still a lot of problems needing exploring. For instance: how to create evaluation system about this subject, how to compile case for teaching and how to perfect the personalities of teachers. These are also author's research direction.
