Basic education course reform of new turn will be carried out wholly. Teachers are the key whether the newly-course reform success or not, Yet the geography education. In middle school was in a embarrassing situation in the long past time, As a result, many people become to suspect whether the further education for middle school geography teachers is able to reach to the expected target. The thesis will discuss about some aspects of further education for middle school teachers under the newly-course reform, especially plays emphasis on following aspects1. The demand to teachers' self-developing under the newly-course reform, and the characters of the standards for geography course and the mature middle geography teachers.2. The analysis of contemporary situation of middle geography teachers3. The conditions of further education for middle and primary school teachers abroad, which give us several lessons4.For making a progress in further education of the geography in middle school, the thesis place importance on inner power of the geography teachers, provided funds, training basis and the course contents, laws and regulations, and impetus system.Research concerning about the theme is contributed to encourage the geography teachers in middle school nationally to accept further education positively and firmly, and provide all middle geography teachers with a good political environment, which can appear the spirits of courses reform and perform Quality Education wholly.
