China is in rapid society transformation period , is following the promotion of economy, political structure reform, the employment system of the university and enrollment policy have gone through a series of changes .The adjusting the right problem of the idea of choosing a job and behavior brought in marketization that the graduate chose a job a few years ago, difficult problem that in recent years to expand and employ the graduate that causes and obtain employment on a large scale, becomes the focus that government and society pay close attention to.Employment, from the point of view of sociology, is the question that a position obtains.This research is to proceed from visual angle that the position obtains, Manpower capital, influence function on graduate's employment of three main factors of social capital and idea of choosing a job in transformation period of society of comparative analysis.Takes the sampling method of many stages, has carried on questionnaire investigation to the 2003 rd graduates and the 2004rd graduates of two provinces in Hunan, Hubei.In this research.Draw the following conclusions through the comparative analysis to the data materials: Graduate manpower had to catch capital abundant and easy to obtain employment. The manpower capital not merely helps graduates to grow and obtain employment the acquisition of the status, and is favorable to the acquisition of its employment income; With the intensification of the system market-based degree of employment, the function on graduate' s employment of the social capital is strengthened . University expand employ graduate after, because of competition fierce to utilize social capital their more in the course of employment employment have. The social capital helps the acquisition of obtaining, employment opportunity of graduate's talent market, supply of the undertaking fund; All respects of graduate's idea of choosing a job influence the actual conditions of their employment directly. Finally, this to how research solve employment difficult problem of graduate put forward some feasible suggestions effectively also.
