The sample was made up of 1990 students from six universities in Jiangsu Province, measured by "Assessment of Violence Risk in University Students, AVRUS" which writed by project team of (Jiangsu Province university human and social science study project, the study number 03SJD880012). The study mainly explored the evaluation of violence risk among university students. The aim of this thesis was to construct the predictive model of university student violence risk, the theory model of violence risk; study the relationship between violence risk and depression, anxiety, loneliness, the relationship between violence risk and self-efficacy, social support, trait coping. It discussed the intervention strategy to violence risk at the same time. The research showed that it exits difference between male and female on violence risk in university students. It discussed the variance explanation on hostility, aggress, anger and revenge is 35%~59% in violence risk, while the variance explanation of subculture only 9% and 15%. The study also found that the violence theory model that included five factors ofhostility, aggression, anger, revenge and subculture could analyze two factors------endogenesisaggressiveness and exogenous violence, and it is implied that they exist correlation. Violence risk shows positive correlation with depression, anxiety, stress and negative coping (P<0.01), and it shows negative correlation with social support and passive coping (P<0.01). Results also suggested that the AVRUS should be further evaluated before intervening for violence risk.
