Nowadays, a new curriculum reform of the basic education is carrying out in our country, and the key problem that has high relation with the success of our nation's education reform is how to improve the teachers' professional qualities which is one of the key factors of education and to achieve their status. On the basis of new requirements of new curriculum reform for the teachers' professional development, this paper combines the methods of questionnaires with interview, investigating and analyzing the actuality of professional development of the physical teachers in Quanzhou middle schools. We find that quite a lot of physics teachers have problems that far from the professional requirement, such as lack of professional theory knowledge, outdated education conception and reduction of professional consciousness. Combining oversea advance experiences with domestic actuality, we finally give some advice for promoting the teachers' professional developments: (1) reforming the normal education mode to accelerate the course of Integration of teachers' education; (2) perfecting the teachers qualification attestation system, establishing openness teacher education system. (3) Establishing sound teachers participating curriculum reform promotion system.
