The purpose of this study is to: 1, understand the status quo. of Chengdu high school teacher job satisfaction; 2, analyze the relevant factors that influence their job satisfaction, job stress and job burnout phenomena among Chengdu high school teachers; 3, compare these teachers' different background variables so as to know how they contribute to these teachers' overall work performance; 4, find out the conformance and relevance between the results and the former researches of job satisfaction, job stress and job burnout; and 5, according to the results, substantial suggestions are proposed for government authorities to increase job satisfaction.Based on the theoretical research, demonstration survey, wide reference and deep discussion, handing out 120 questionnaire papers to three high schools in Chengdu (one private, the other two public; one in the urban, one in the county and the other in a town), this thesis collects the results of the survey, analyzes the factors about job satisfaction, job stress and job burnout and provides feasible solutions on it while widely referring to the successful scientific researches and theories. It involves the theories of Sociology, Education, Psychology, and Management and finally brings forward the countermeasures in terms of social background, school human resource management and teacher individual responding.The thesis is composed of three parts: literature citation, survey and research and feasible solutions.In Part One, the thesis cites the concepts and researches on job satisfaction, discusses related factors such as job stress and job burnout, analyzes the causes and consequences of job stress and job burnout, and probes into the relationships between job satisfaction and its relevant factors.In Part Two, the thesis works out a questionnaire of teacher job satisfaction in Chengdu Municipal high schools based on the theories of job satisfaction and...
