The system of Three-Level Curriculum Management endows the right ofcurriculum development and curriculum management to the teachers. Moreover, onthe School and Class Level, teachers are the main body of curriculum development.This paper takes the method of case study. The present situation of teacher-involvedcurriculum development is revealed through classroom observation, interview andinformation collection. And also via the study of the case, some meaningfulexperience and implications are summarized. On this basis, some conclusions onadvancing teacher-involved curriculum development are made and some questionsneeded further consideration are proposed in order to provide some scientificinstruction to basic education.This paper includes 5 chapters:Chapter1 proposes the research question on the basis of CurriculumDevelopment theories and requirements for Curriculum Reform and simply presentssome other questions related to this paper.Chapter2 discusses the background and significance of teacher-involvedcurriculum development. It mainly includes the changes of the paradigm ofcurriculum study, the ways of curriculum practice and teacher specializationdevelopment, from this background it also discusses the necessity of teacher-involvedcurriculum development, and it analyzes the significance of teacher-involvedcurriculum development and defines the meaning of teacher-involved curriculumdevelopment.Chapter3 analyzes and defines teacher-involved curriculum development and theways of practice. And also this chapter puts forward three ways of teacher-involvedcurriculum development from the perspective of a participant. They are: personalcurriculum development, group curriculum development within a subject, crosssubject curriculum development. And through particular cases it annotates ateacher-involved curriculum development in the process of teaching.Chapter 4 generalizes some crucial experience and implications, and discusses thestrategies assuring teacher-involved curriculum development, such as financialsupport, human resource support, time support;constructing team-work organizations,making middle-level teachers do their function, arousing teachers' motives, being theinterlocutor to teaching materials… Such strategies can help Curriculum Developmentprogress continually.Chapter 5 makes a summarization and proposes some questions needed to thinkover in the study and also presents some valuable questions for further consideration.
