Students participating in the classroom teaching can encourage students to study English more actively, and students can also be trained to acquire their study ability. In the past, teachers in class usually used traditional way to teach students knowledge. Now we also use this teaching way to teach our students in class in our college. But, gradually I have found this way has some problems to some of students, because some students do not study hard and actively. So based on my students' English level and learning conditions, in my classes I firstly conducted some research and then guided students by teaching strategies in learning a second language. Language learning is not only absorbing knowledge, but a practice course. Students participating in the classroom teaching is an effective way to master the basic knowledge and basic skills. After that, I adopted a kind of teaching way called "students retelling the text after the teacher", which I designed for my students in my classroom teaching. At the first stage I found my students studied harder than before and they also studied actively in class. But several months later, I found some problems in the course of teaching: a few students did not listen to other students to retell the text, and some students only repeated the content taught by the teacher and did not have any creativeness. In order to solve the problem, I redesigned the teaching approach, which is called "Students teaching the text". Finally, my teaching and the teaching method proved to be effective. My Students have actively participated in the classroom teaching and they have also got better scores in the examination.
