The Research On The Succor Of The Vulnerable Group Of College Students

With the changing of social transition and social structure and the further development of higher education system's reform in our country, the problem of the vulnerable group of college students becomes more and more prominent. The vulnerable group of college students refers to those students who are deficient in economy, physical condition, psychology, study , communication and influence in college because of external or internal reasons. Those students cannot grow healthily because they bear a lot of psychological stress. Their vulnerable conditions mainly represent in five aspects as below: economical weakness, body and mental weakness, study weakness, communicative weakness and influencing weakness. The embodiment of humanism, the requirement of implementation of the right to be educated, the exploring of educational equality and the need of social stability are the needs to succor the vulnerable group. Our government and colleges always pay much attention to this issue. They set up a series of policies and measures gradually, thus have made some progress. However, there are still some problems to succor the vulnerable group of college students. It mainly includes the obsolete of succor concept, the low efficiency of succor, the unfuifillment of succor policy, the lack of human care in the process of succor. It needs our joint efforts to solve this problem. We can do from four aspects as follows: sticking to the leadership of government and consummating the succor policy; strengthening the support of college and perfecting the succor at campus; developing social recourses and broadening the ways of succor; strengthening self-education and realizing self-succor.
